My Gurni pressure cleaner doesn't pulse like it used to. It has a rotating thingy in the jet head that doesn't rotate.
How can I fix it?

undo the attachment Spray lanolin or wd 40 or pour vegetable oil into the end reconnect, spray and tap lightly againt wall till it starts oscilating. I use my pressure cleaner to mix cement quickly and it allways happens.

If its exactly the same as the one in the image above and the wd 40 trick doesn't work you can hold the spray end in a vice and turn the shaft. It takes a bit of doing but they do come apart. Once apart blow the very fine nozzle out with compressed air or run something like fuse wire through it. The hole is very fine. If using compressed air hang onto it tight or you will blow it out your fingers never to be seen again. Once you get it apart you will see there is nothing to them and wonder how the hell they actually work.

So so disappointed.
I thought NotWal had a gurney with a pulse jet on it.
Very jackass...

If it pulses (start stop all the time) it is because you have dirt (sand?) caught in the outlet of the rotary nozzle, use a oxy nozzle cleaned but be very carefull not to wear down the nozzle as the pressure will not be as good.

Gurney, Karcher, Nilfisk all the same are all very similar rule number one is always use a sand filter on the inlet and when buying a pressure washer remember that the best ones have a brass pump head and cost a lot more.

Karcher cheapies are made of aluminium cast and the water quality in OZ is so bad that it attack the alloy, some have a plastic head (the very cheap ones) be sure note to run water of a hose that has been left in the sun all day as it will melt or change the shape of the head and it will leak.

I use to fix them for a living.

By the way oil will not help as it is rotating on a ceramic surface and use water lubrification.

I've have matured since that photo "sn". NOT.

I just moved on to a larger pulse jet that's all.

We have so much trouble with Karcher that Bunnings have stopped replacing them under warranty at the Ag farm. Bloody terrible pressure cut off switches that are built into the pump housing and always fail.
