A flat earth requires something to stop it falling, like a giant turtle. Ad infinitum.

Awesome! A guy with a slide projector in a dimly lit room reciting What he's seen on YouTube in an emotionless, monotone voice.
That's all the proof I need !!

Merry Xmas to the Seabreeze Truther/Nutbag club and congratulations on your newest members.

Part 2 is even more awesome... my 14yo nephew introduced me to the video (Christmas gathering). He's told me some weird things, specially around what he's being taught at school (grade 9)... oh and how the islanders beat him up, steal his phone and break his Dr Dre.
We're both "crunk".

And we all know what's holding up the giant turtle don't we?

I watched the first 20 minutes of the first vid posted by flysurfer. Impressive presentation to say the least.

One of the very best I've yet watched. The guy makes many valid points and I liked how he addressed Japies point of boats disappearing over the curvature. A P900 will soon have them coming back in to view.

You are a shameless troll

because when I posted these two pictures of the same place taken with my P900, you never commented on why the beach still doesn't come into view when its zoomed in even though they were taken on same day at the same time

care to offer an explanation Pete, I put it down to curvature of the Earth but what are your thoughts

I think he might actually be a troll. Not in the meaning of he knows something is wrong and he is trying to get a response, but in that he thinks something but knows its going to cause strong responses, so he posts it. Otherwise he closes his mind and thinks he is superior in filtering out the lies.

Even an idiot can see around them that the world being a sphere makes sense. In Perth this morning at 5am you could see the moon and half of it was lit up. Which way was it pointing to as the light source? The East of course, which just happens to be where the sun rises. Go figure.

But even an idiot can close their mind and eat up presentations from youtube.

Hehe, the idea of a ball orbiting around a flat earth is hilarious. The graphic they show of it circling does not seem to explain why we don't always see a sun any time of the day from any part of the world. It obvious isn't it? You can see from that graphic that the sun circles around but any point on the world should be able to see it, yet apparently it goes dark at night and we can't see it.

A pretty obvious fail I would say.

He's a troll for sure, take note of the new troll posting flat earth stuff to a wider audience on "shooting the breeze" another WA resident. There is a flat earth conspiracy happening here, its all just click bait.

I think pm33 thinks like a child and is desperate for attention as kids often are. Which explains why he posts such silly contrarian garbage.

For a moment I thought y'all were referring to waykiwayki as the troll... bcos I was on the fence.
Let me explain how Shooting the breeze works:
1.- People post topics on anything & everything* (* excludes politics, religion, racism, hatred & chemtrails).
2.- The new content drives traffic to the site; content is king and a large audience is advertising nirvana.
3.- Readers get entertained, informed and on occasion offended.
4.- Advertisers get your attention.
5.- Laurie gets some ad revenue.

What an individual member believes in, is immaterial to the above process.
Diversity in human psychology and it's representation on this site, I believe has helped it be the success it is... where else can you find an introduction to Synthesizers w/ a side of Moon landings while you check the wind?

Btw Flat earth is no less ridiculous than the NIST Report on Building 7.

^ True. Life would be boring without bull****.

It just gets a bit troubling when it gets to point where the cognitively disadvantaged are misled. At best it's amusing. At worst It's gratuitous cruelty - a bit like teasing mental people, and attempts to correct it lead to rudeness.

I know I've been rude for which I apologise.

Yes they don't get any better and yet every point is erroneous.
Every point and much more can be explained consistently with a spheroidal Earth.
Many of these things have been explained to you but you seem to prefer not to understand.

The NIST Report in to Building 7 - an insult to intelligence. We sadly do not see such opposition on here to the Report ( Bono aside)

We all know very well it was a near perfect controlled classic implosion. All the videos taken from various angles show that to be the case.

As to the two pics, one showing the beach the other not - the first pic looks a lot more grainy with a bit more wind.

Anyway, at that relatively short distance of perhaps a few kilometres with the camera say at a height of two metres the beach will not be below the curvature even if it were a 25000 mile sphere.

I finished watching the second half of Part 1 and the other two parts last night - truly fascinating viewing!

Thanks flysurfer - the best video on cosmology out there.

The video - The Most Surprising Lie of 2018 is still better but that video is more about why they lie,not the physical evidence of cosmology.

That English bloke doing the presentation - no pulling the wool over his eyes!

We will probably never fully understand how the whole thing works. It's so amazing. Certainly it is by design.

From 2005 to around 2015 - 911 was the biggest con on the net.

However this claimed con of modern cosmology has just taken over.

984 000 videos available - 4000 new ones coming on daily!

Whether you believe in the heliocentric model or the giocentric model it is certainly fascinating to look in depth at the evidence.

Put a string from one end of the Suez Canal to the other end and pull tight

Now if it were a ball as Japie is so convinced there'd be a huge elevation of land in the middle.

The middle of the string would be a kilometre or so underwater.

Also,is the bottom of the trench / canal built to take into account the claimed curvature? Or,is it built perfectly horizontal as seems almost certain?

"Horizon"-tal

Bit of a giveaway. Those tricky ancient Greeks were clever little buggers, huh.
