Anyone bother to watch it?

I was looking at it in my backyard, through sunglasses and a welding helmet... for only seconds at a time. But I was happy to see that it was actually happening. (Not a maintenance window for the flat earth sun-repair team?? )

It was surprising in that when you could see the sun obscured by maybe 30% there was still enough sunlight that you wouldn't even know unless you were looking directly at it through something.

You could feel the 'heat' of the day disappear though. It was light but not much heat, which my solar HWS demonstrated.

I wonder what it was like in Exmouth where it was more of a thing?

There were a few people here in Bali looking at it through slits in their fingers. Hope they didn't do any damage.

That's ISO 12312. So should be no problem
