So I went and read the report quoted in the Australian because it was more appealing than getting the leaves out of the gutters. The take home messages are:
-The Australian still has problems with fact checking.(only 55% of readers rate the paper as 'trustworthy')
- only 4% of the research group get their news via hardcopy newspaper.
-The Sky News Editor does not appear to have the intellectual wherewithal to understand the research. The research he references details the political orientation of the
audience, not the media outlet and their political bias.
- As Paradox points out, one of the more interesting outcomes is the political bias difference between people who watch SkyNews on TV(offline) and those who access it online.
