Newbie here on this forum. I'm into wakeboarding / kiteboarding and are wondering what everyone recommends for boardies? I prefer the longer style ones below knee.

I like to wear bonds boxer briefs under them and have them showing a bit - is this the done thing? Pic attached of me to show what I mean.

Sounds like you're already a kiter. Get a lepard print g and have that showing. Arch your back suggestively when pumping up the kite. Cleavage is for men too

A fine example of why I love this website. Someone is keen to hear our thoughts on fashion. It doesn't happen enough, I say.

So gents. Evening wear for wakeboarders / kiteboarders... low slung jet pilot trackie dacks with G-banger on display, Pink farmer Joe shirt with sleeves cut off to show my guns and Bali tatts, and mirror sunnies. Acceptable on the East Coast too?

trolling and jokes aside... i reckon most of population is so manipulated by fashion industry. Whetever is trending, everyone wears it. For instance those short tight casual shorts with bottom bit folded... like WTF!!!... or those bag pants... If you want to maintain your individuality in this society, you can't because all the retail shops sell the same thing... and if you are looking for something a bit different/unique which is not currently trending, then good luck to you. Even if you are just looking for a set of normal beach boardies that would go past your balls length, you won't find anything because now everyone is into short boardies (esp if you are a taller bloke).

That's what we all wore before the fashion industry mandated we had to go into the water with a couple of yards of material dragging behind us in the form of board shorts.

Too true mate - hate the shorter boardies look esp as they offer no protection.

Nothing wrong with speedos either IMO. Been wanting to get a pair. They are still better than these things, with the junk flapping around scaring little kids at the beach. My brother in law always wears these, i have to keep telling him to fold his junk away:
