Who likes it? Who makes it? What sort do you like? What are you drinking now?

I'm currently drinking a Citra hopped XPA made from an All Inn Brewing fresh wort kit. What I miss right now is Fat Tug IPA from Vancouver Island in BC.

Usually go for a Pale Ale, if there's much of a choice. There's one, could be Endeavour or some other nautically named pale ale, that smells like MaryJane when opened.
when in Sydney I try to go to a brewery/restaurant at Darling Harbour that does what is called Creamy Duck pale ale or something similar, quite tasty.

^^^ I though Blue Moon might of had more your style of beer

A mate's been brewing alcoholic ginger beer
Which he tells me is technically wine
But it's crazy crazy good
Especially the chilli one

You'll laugh out loud at this. I was drinking the boutique stuff like everyone has been since the early 0's .

Out at an outdoor event around year ago, guy comes up with an Esky and says " wouldjalikeabeermate ? "

I actually thought about it briefly before saying "yeah mate" . He pulls an Emu Export can out . I'm thinking , yuk !!! It was ice cold tho , I cracked it open had a sip to be polite. I was surprised !!!!

I reckon it has to be the most underrated beer in the state . I don't buy anything else now . It actually tastes like BEER !!!!!

Took a few over to the neighbours place a couple of weeks ago , and we it put the Export alongside a Millers . No comparison ! The Millers tasted like sugar water next to an Export .

Try one before responding with a piss take .

I had a very similar experience a few years ago with Export... I almost didn't drink it but I was thirsty, it was hot and the beer was ice cold. I wouldn't buy it personally, but I did enjoy it. Apparently the recipe was changed a few years ago.

Although I just got my own keg system and am toying with doing some craft brewing... This is the direction I think I will head;

I'm enjoying a Beer Farm Royal Haze as I type, I'm quite partial to their Pale Ale as well.

Trouble with a lot of the craft beers is that the alcohol content is getting up into the high 6 - 8 % range and is different to what I consider beer drinking, one has to sip

Being somewhat parochial I try to stick to West Australian beers as my daily drinkers.

Great Northerns and Iron jacks are what im into at the moment. I have never tried to make my own beer, but i can make a lemon,lime, bitter which tastes alright. They are only 0.5 stand drinks as well so you can hook into a few of them and not be smashed.

We put ironjack and great northern in the studio kitchen, cause no one will steal them and then when we have opening nights, punters come round for a look and a polite couple of beers and then leave rather quickly. We like to believe its mostly cause the beer is so sheet.

Ice cold export is the best beer
There's always bunch of fellas sitting in the sun in the park over the road who'd argue that it doesn't even need to be ice cold
But by the sounds of things, they argue over just about everything.

Starting brewing again a few years back cause the beer is xxy in Norway. After a year or so of extracts I bought a all grain set up and have since tried everything under the sun in it.
Favourites are a kolsch for the summer (and the wife) and citrus belgian for the dark times.
Simples to use these days, millions of recipes online and your 20l keg ends up at around $70 plus 5-10 hours labour (if you can call it that)
A 0.5l can of decent beer is $8 of the shelf so I keep telling myself I am saving a bundle every time i head to the fridge
a long way from the exploding bottles of ****e we made at school

I love beer, but I rarely drink it. Mostly craft beer, but I don't have a favorite brand. I try to try something new every time.

Don't like pale ale or any of the boutique beers....they taste like a bunch of flowers, which I guess they actually are. I like draught and Japanese beers.

I brew my own. Its become an obsession.
I brew all grain batch sparge and make recipes myself or use others and tweak to taste.
I have a 4 keg 4 tap system that I ymade froma freezer that was given away. Hacked the electrics and put on a digital temp controller built a collar to acommadate a gas manifold couple of fans to circulate the air and taps.
Always have 4 beers on tap generally
a stout/porter black dark dank beer
an IPA/double IPA/hoppy type beer
an easy drinker like a golden ale pale ale a pilsner or a lager
a speciality beer like ginger or ginger chilli or a cider
Its a great hobby somewhat unhealthy but good fun and its always good to share

Nice Keezer relly, I have an off the shelf kegarator with the 4 tap tower, actually running cold brew Nitro coffee on one of them at the moment, Nice drop when it's not after beer o'clock yet. Still not the healthiest but hey..

All grain, around 8 20 litre brews per calendar year.
Mostly lagers, PA and the occasional stout.

I recommend cans . My first one of the day , I remove from the fridge and stick it in the freezer compartment for up to an hour.

As your not used to it , make sure you're sitting down when you try an Emu Export.

Can't go wrong with Innate, I don't have a favourite as they are all so good. Mmmmmm beer

On Tap at the moment - A chocolate Coconut Stout on nitrogen for the 'guinness pour' A double IPA dry hopped with Citra and Amarillo A straight sweet cider and a regular plae ale.
