Going to my first ever F1 race this weekend at the Australian Grand Prix and really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere at the track. I have been trying to figure out what things are useful to bring and what items aren't allowed inside.

I came across this guide which seems helpful: www.fanamp.com/tr/what-you-can-and-cant-bring-to-the-australian-gp-2026

For those who have been before, what do you usually bring for a full day at the circuit? Are small backpacks generally fine and is there anything people often forget that ends up being really useful during the weekend? Any tips would be appreciated.

Did the full 4 day circus way back in 1992, Amazing to see the cars in action, mind boggling how late they brake, found the support racing interesting. But if you are after actually seeing the race, then the TV is the go.

Hearing protection is a definate necesity. Buy numerous sets (at least 3 for each person) before you go as the same with everything else at the event, they'll be f'ken expensive.

Thank you guys for your replies. Ear protection is surely a must-have when you are going to an F1 race @ptsf1111
