but people operate on agendas all the time. Eg my boss wants see his business grow. That's an agenda. Its not a world take over, but it means he has an interest it seeing me work on weekends when he likes, so he can look speedy for a client.


The government currently wants everyone vaccinated, perhaps for good reason, and plenty of social media companies agree with them. Guess what? That is an agenda too. Having posts/reports/videos come up, especially ones that include factual info by people who would normally be considered credible hurts that agenda. They have motive to see it discredited/removed, because it hurts that agenda.

its quite worrying, seeing the way it's all going. It seems anyone who gives even the slightest hint of criticism to that agenda is jumped on as a troublemaker and shut down asap. All I can see at the moment is a lot of fear motivating a good proportion of society, and it's only a small amount of those people who fall into the true CT mould.

Some people cannot understand 'walls of text' and either need the information as a short meme, a youtube video with spooky music, or the worst one, a real wall of text with no punctuation and just a solid mass of stuff. The last is because they never read it anyway and just forward it on with 'do your own research'.

But now that it's on the path to deletion anyway, I'll go ahead and say, there's been no apology.
Lockdown modelling was sketchy at best. Empirical evidence shows for the most part they did more harm than good.
Yes, there are studies that "prove" otherwise, but they're crap and missing vast volumes of detail.
That's it, that's enough reason for every CT Nutter to believe their theory has merit.
At least some of the scientist that got it wrong have conceded, but no, none of ours. None that caused untold undue misery

It sounds like you are arguing with my post, but you are actually agreeing with it.

Sure, agendas are real. It makes sense. But to have a mysterious agenda by some huge mysterious entity, with no proof and less logic does not make sense.

A lot of companies will now have an agenda to get their staff vaccinated to minimise problems and try to keep open.

The government? Why would they have an agenda to lose lots of money and ruin their political chances? They wouldn't. So their agenda is more than likely to get out of this problem in the best way possible.

Well said. We all know of agendas, but what some of us disagree with is the way they seem to be only used by an excuse or reason by one side.

CT nutters also have agendas. Sometimes it's because the more gullible people they can get to watch their videos, the more cash they get. Sometimes it's because it inflates their egoes to think that they know more than (for example) people who have spent 30 years studying virology, or doing investigations, or leading the way in IT. It's still an agenda.

A classic example is the way some people around here talk about big pharma having an agenda, but ignore the fact that big oil also has an agenda, and it's losing billions upon billions. Airlines, retailers, manufacturers and many other sectors have agendas to make money, and they are losing money because of Covid. The CT nutters ignore that. They seem to believe that merely having "an agenda" gives mysterious powers.

I held a poll on it.

I used to live in an area where they held local council polls during the week at a shopping centre. Do you know what type of people are free to shop in suburban city during the day? It skews the results somewhat. I bet you if they asked if old people should be sacrificed to Covid that they would have gotten a definitive result.
