Anyone one had experience buying from Amazon in US?

Bezos told the crowd at the shareholders' meeting held in Seattle that the one-time bookstore, which now sells pretty much everything, had added 30 million new customers last year to bring its total active user base to 244 million.

My experience with Amazon is that the items I want are generally not shipping to Australia.
It does seen like Amazon are setting up a Australian distribution in the near future however.

I've ordered a few things over the years. For stuff that does get delivered here, it has all worked , was in good nick and arrived fairly fast.

Amazon is great. I use it all the time. Though I do have a secondary U.S. Postal address as well as a US credit card. Returns are quick and easy from there if your not satisfied. Good place to price match from. Prob bought 30 plus items over the years. Only some sellers will send to Oz
