It's winter here so I'm burning trees as I watch it to keep warm

If they watched it they would see we can still have our tv, computers or what ever they deem important, but its how we use the land/oceans to power and manufacture these thing.
Biodiversity and sustainability is the key, as he shows in the documentary some places have gone from only having a 3rd of their original rainforests left, decided to do something about it and now half of it back in the last 20 years

Its a bit of an eye opener seeing how much damage David Attenborough has seen in just his life time and how bad he shows things to be in just 10 more years.
Not just for the extinction of animals, but the extinction of US.

I think everyone agrees that something needs to be done. What can be done though?

Mega-factorys make Mega-money and of course make a sh!tload of polution. What do you do? Shut the factories down? Then we dont make money and the world needs money to work. No politician is going to want to be involved with a project that looses money and jobs.

China and other asian countries are the real environmental dangers.
Australia makes very small amounts of polution compared to them but then you ask yourself where all the products that we buy come from. Where there is demand there is supply so are we to blame?

The truth is the next 10,20,30,40,50+ years our environment will nearly certainly change significantly whether we make an effort to help the environment or not.

Everything can be traced back to the habits of the less fortunate.

Give developing nations a hand, eliminate poverty and improve access to cheap readily available power, education and employment and you will solve 90% of the worlds environmental problems by industrialising them and creating wealth and life security. Less babies and more care about the environment they live in equals a better world.

Weathy Nations are not the problem, but our focus on irrelevent solutions is.

You don't need David A. to discover that throwing plastic bottle to river is wrong thing. David A. may find the most beautiful places on Earth , but in order to preserve it you need start with your own backyard.
