Hi all,

My dive buddy and I are on the hunt for hull and deck molds for a good 6m-8m preferably centre console diving/fishing boat for WA coast and Rotto missions. Ideally we would like to rent the molds for this one-off project.
We will be looking for motor and running gear as well but first things first!
Any leads or offers please PM me.

Cheers!

Adam

From 6 to 8 mtr is a big difference in size Depending on what your chasing your best option would be to try and track down a Leeder mould (although they only ever did a few Center Consoles.)

A good one would be a 23' mould that was used to build the Saltwaters. If you contact Michael at North port he might be able to steer you towards who has them.

A last option that i can think of would be Sprayline. The old thomas craft but they are bigger again.

Had you thought about buying something already finished and converting it to a Center console? It would save a lot of time and money

Either way Michael would be a good place to start, he seems to have a finger on everything like that..

He probably needs to sell the boat, his house and children to pay for the medical fees.

Thanks guys, that video is hideous!!

I have made a bunch of calls..no luck with those contacts but some tentative leads - so will keep ringing around marine joints and see if I can snag something...I know they are out there. Apparently the same ones pop up from time to time on Gumtree - rare as hens teeth

Cheers!

I never watched that in the full. It was a big mistake IMHO. He had speed chine walking early and didn't trim to fix it, then he turned into the lean and dropped the throttle full of berrying the nose… Not hard to do though at that speed..

Also he should have utilised the seats better by having it further forward to stop him getting chucked down.

Often boats like that one will have one driver and one throttle trimer..

I love fast boats, especially watching them
Heres a good mates..good for a touch over 80+ mph..
