That sucked ya's in eh.

Does any body know of anyone who does on board re-gassing of three way marine fridges? Or if anyone knows much about them in general. It has stopped cooling but there is still heat behind it. Any info would be much appreciated.

Cheers

If it's like the one you find in caravans 12V/240V/Gas a common problem as they get old is the pipes rusting on the inside and small pieces of rust stopping the gas flow. I had one that stopped working and a refrigeration mechanic I knew at the time told me about this problem, he told me to go for a drive on a corrugated dirt road to shake the rust free. It worked like a charm.

Maybe you can give it a good shake or gently tap the pipes. It may not be the problem but it might be worth a go. If that doesn't fix it any refrigeration mechanic should be able to fix/re-gas it.

Cheers Zuke.

Believe it or not its quite hard to get someone to have a look without pulling it out and taking to them. I reckon half the boat was built around it so was hoping not to have to pull it out.
