I think some basic fact checking is needed. How does a 101 year old guy live through 'both world wars'.

Was there a war that I missed in history class?

Poor headline, he never claims that. He clearly states he was born in 1919. Good interview though.

I see they have had an edit and now it says one world war, but the video still has it:

"He's lived through both world wars, and The Great Depression, but as Owen Filer approaches his 101st birthday, he says the global COVID-19 pandemic is "worse than war".

It is a bit worrying when he says that this is worse! Is that with the benefit of having already lived through WWII and the depression and forgetting about what it was like?

First World War ended 1919 so technically he was alive at the end of it and so lived through it.
was probably ****ting himself and throwing up a lot at the time but then again he might've had a nipple to suck on so on balance probably not too bad for him
