Last things I need is to get excited about someone posting a new image and find it's someone adding what "they believe" to be a very witty comment or even worse, "Having a whinge". If you have an issue, then start a new thread, don't fill up the "The Funny Images Thread" with gibberish. Keep it just for Funny Images.

And just for the record, "The Funny Images Thread" is about Humour not Serious.

Sort of like when an actor might be told to "Break a Leg". Do you really think they are serious.

Comments in the funny images thread must fall broadly into the category of "first-world problems" - no?

From my personal point of view comments are not a problem as such. God knows one has to wade through a myriad of the ****ers on some threads in search of a tidbit of sense.

Funny images however is different. I'm frequently pressed for time and often in a crap reception area. The funny images thread is a favorite treat.

Often the treat is spoiled when the anticipation of a giggle is supplanted by a lone comment.

A let down if you will.
