Where in the world is Hadlow? Ex Kiteboarding champ in DR.

Aaron hadlow has been hiding out in some very cool places of late. From Cape Hatteras a few months ago for the Triple-S. To the Dominican Republic, while he shot the little kiteboarding video below - and then he trekked out to Hood River in Oregon for the Ro-Sham Throwdown. One thing those three kiteboarding events have in common, is that footstraps don't seem to be on the menu...

Not a bad way to spend half the year, and he wasn't just showing his mug and signing autographs either - Hadlow is set to be one of the new influences in wake-style riding. His latest variation of cable wakeboarding inspired trickery is quickly gaining both him, and Flexifoil a foot in the door to the wake style kiteboarding scene. His kiteboarding must be pretty 'legit' as they say on the forums, as gaining respect in a world filled with gangsta raps, oversize t-shirts and very solid objects isn't easy. Then again, the man won 5 world championships - what did everyone expect?

Check out the video below, and look out for Hadlow in Oz - word is that he's coming down under for a while this summer.

Opening in August 2007, Kitepower Australia Queensland, or KPQ, is the newest addition to the Kitepower chain. In September 2011, KPQ moved a few blocks down the road to a newly refurbished shopfront. The move allowed the shop to expand into other watersports like stand-up paddling and wakeboarding, as well as beachwear and toys. Across the road from the store is Pelican park and Bells beach, which are the perfect locations for flying kites and practising all kinds of watersports...
