I had a dream to sail around the world which developed into an obsession as I read the many books on the subject and following Jessica Watson adventure. Eventually research led me to the Round the World Clipper Race. I set about raising the $90,000 I needed. I rode a push bike solo from Sydney to Mooloolaba, over 1000km, held fundraising dinners, lived and breathed Clipper. 12 months later I am crew on the yacht Gold Coast Australia. We just won the first leg and I am loving every second.
