2009. Never surfed before and needed a new sport that is dynamic and challenging...Bought a 10ft 6" Chinese "pop out" board and really enjoying small surf around the Gold Coast. 2012. Now enjoying 2-3ft waves at Currumbin.... Getting better!! Still have same board but onto second paddle (and repaired that twice!!!). Suggestion: Don't buy cheap paddles - they don't last!!
