Been sailing for over 50 years, been running all sorts of race officialdom the last 10 years. From Optimists to the Sydney Hobart race, there's a large variety of events that I've officiated at. I had my first boat at 7 [ MJ980], from there the list grew through a variety of dinghies/Windsurfers/Lasers in to trailer yachts, off shore and inshore One Design. My last major offshore was Hobart 2005, since then I have been RO on the Southern Line.
