I have just taken up kitesufring this year, but am a full addict now, leaving work early and cancelling appointments whenever the wind blows. I live and work in Port Pirie, so the closest place I can comfortably kitesurf is Port Germein. Telowie Beach is closer, but only good at high tide, and Weeroona island is okay, but has a rocky beginning and if you get blown downwind you end up in the mangroves which, probably wouldn't be fun. I think I will stick to Port Germein. I have been out there...
