Leighton Kiters is a local user group that first met in April 2009. As of March 2010 we have about 45 kiters on our mailing list. Our goals are pretty simple: to promote safe kiting at Leighton so that we keep Leighton beach open and accessible for kite surfing. We are working with other stakeholders such as the Fremantle SLSC & City of Fremantle to keep the beach open. Kiters are welcome to contact us via SB or leighton_kiters@hotmail.com.
