Instead of sailing the local bump-n-jump spot in a WSWly, decided to sacrifice the day and look for flatwater spots to speed sail. This spot looked OK and had a good rigging and launching area. Might also work OK in a straight Westerly, which is a very common wind direction. Tide was quite high.
