Went for a nice day up the mountain at Donna Buang. Heavy snow predicted and as usual, the hoards flocked to the mountain in their two wheel drives with no snow chains and mayhem proceeded before the cops shut the mountain and those who had arrived with the appropriate gear were denied the opportunity to head up. We were lucky enough to get there early which allowed us to see the havoc unfold including some poor towtruck driver sliding into a car.

The snowfall wasn't exactly on the scary side, but it was bad enough that a lot of idiots in 2 wheels drives who don't know how to drive in snow got stuck, had accidents because their cars slid into others etc. People were parking their cars on sand in heavy snowfall so obviously the moment the snow became water, their cars got stuck in the sludge. It was almost a little entertaining watch cars sliding sideways while their drivers sat their oblivious to what they were doing wrong. As usual, there was some toothless bogan in his holden ute fishtailing up and down the mountain overtaking people and trying to impress his girlfriend who is probably also his sister.

If that wasn't bad enough, there were a couple of cyclists on racing bikes (not even mountain bikes) that decided -2 was an appropriate temperature to head up the mountain.
