Near my mate Simos property. Went up there for a drive and say Gday, it was warm so we went for a swim in the channel. Pretty gentle current, around easy dog paddle. The channel is raised above the surrounding plains by a couple of meters, the water is only around 2 meters below the height of the levee bank. There are many stretches that are open and have no trees, also if you were lucky you could probably get the wind on the right angle. next time I go up there I will take my sailing gear for sure.
