Solution for sailing at spots with big tidal range
This weekend at my favourite and only sailing spot sees a nepe tide with a really low high tide around dawn and dusk. I've been trying to think of a way to get out to the water during the day so I don't have to just stay at home and mow the lawn. I. E. Apart from two trips either side of sailing.

I would guess it would be 500mtrs to a 1km walk to the water with ample fin depth.

I was talking to a guy today who was on holidays at Hervey Bay a while back who reckons he saw a windsurfer/s with a device with big rubber/plastic wheels getting their gear to the water and back, which was a long way out.

Is this a myth or does someone have such a device?

I'd be keen to see pictures if they exist and any hints/advice re: construction. I figure it would be pretty simple to come up with some sort of trolley but I would need it to accommodate my rigged sail as well.

Appreciate any replies, cheers.
