I'm about to be back in Sydney after 5 years away, and wondering about access to various spots having read about the desal plant and so on. I hope to avoid a long drive to the beach for nothing! Will mostly be south side - has anything changed radically at:

Kyeemagh/Brighton-Le-Sands - is there still access here is the desal work in the way? Is there still parking?
Kurnell - is this all kites now or a good option for westerlys?
Narrabeen lake (with beginner friends)
Wanda

and more importantly have any new Sydney spots been discovered!
