What a day at Stanwell today. Apparently this only happens once or twice a year. The winds were perfect S-SE 15-20 knots, with a cloud formation I have never seen before. Think of this, blue sky out to sea and infront of the hill, beautiful white fluffy clouds 100 feet above and behind the hill. I thought I would have to wait until I flew inland before I would get a chance to fly above some white fluffy clouds. It was just amazing flying above the hill and seeing the cloud start to form in front of you then stream past you. Then turn around and there is a white wall of cloud 100 metres behind you stretching to the western horizon. You could fly up to and over the top of the cloud in the valley over Stanwell Park. It was one of those days that will live with me until the day I die. I truly got to fly around and through the edge of the clouds in reality, as I have done for the last 50 years in my dreams, it was just magnificient. I took a couple of photos and a video and you can see them here, enjoy. Video link: http://www.youtube.com/?v=26odE33awig
