So I'm wanting to start spinning some slugs of the rocks into the deep blue. (As budget friendly as possible)

I've got a Shimano Catana 10'6 / 4-7kg/ 15-80g lures.

And, well that's about as far as I have got. Plan was to originally run 20lb braid but I'm now wondering if I would be better of going a little heavier with say 30lb? (Heaviest rig at the moment is 6lb. haha)

Reel wise is still completely in the air. Suggestions? Something around the $100ish mark.. Fin- Nor Offshore?
