I have been sailing with the Partik AIO foils for about 4 summers now, I started with the Ally mast 105 fuse and 1100 front wing and Exocet freeride foil board. It was great gear to learn on but found when using the 105 fuse I had to place my front foot well in front of the front foot straps and the rear stab all the way negative just to keep the board balanced (keep the nose down). I ended up changing to the 95 fuse and the board felt a little more balanced, not perfect, but found moving my mast base forward helped. As my confidence built and was managing higher speeds I switched down to the 900 and then the 700 front wing.

I really enjoy going fast on the foil and after three seasons on the freeride board and not improving on my max top end speeds (21 to 22 knots), I decided to upgrade to a 95 cm carbon mast and new Tribal Atmos foil Slalom board. The Atmos probably deserves its own review, but I love this board, and with the carbon mast it just felt super stable at speed, now I am able to comfortably cruise around at 21 to 22 knots and max top speed 25 knots (using the 700 front wing).

One thing I did note that with this new set up my back leg was getting really tired and almost cramping up on long runs, I could not work out what might be the problem, was playing with the mast base position but then realised I had not bothered to tune my rear stab to the new setup, it had been set full negative and not changed it in three years! I shifted it to neutral position and problem solved.
I am now struggling to improve my speed beyond 25 knots using my smallest 700 front wing, but rather go down to the Patrik 550, or go all out and purchase a AEON foil setup, I was looking at the AIO compatible Zeeko foils and they have a new higher speed front wing model called the Burner, so I have ordered the 540 and will be interested to see how this might further improve my average and top speeds.

Hopefully can break some PB's before the end of summer!
