The Orcas is for sure hard to un-feel??

I haven't been on anything else than F4, and they have never had a mast thicker than 13mm. So I have tried the Orca Vs other front wings, on the same mast.

Going from the F4 Hooki 760, 815 and 999, and Wahoos, the Orca was for sure a completely new feeling, with the same mast. The 685 felt like it almost had the same low end as the 999. But much faster, better glide, turned better, and actually easier to ride.

Now I am on the 75AX with my 87kg, +6mm wetsuit for the Norwegian winter.
Used to be on the 13mm 95.
Wing with upwind/downwind focus. And gradually getting into parawing.

Have heard all the episodes, from the beginning. Good entertainment.
Listen to podcast in the car, and also follow the X-Foils, Lab Rat Foiler and The Progression Project.

Lab Rat Foiler had Cynthia Brown, Ken Adgate and Evan Jaspan in an end of the year episode. Really good one.

I've got no clue about Axis gear. But from what you describe, I think you just need a little time to adapt. Let it build more speed before you try to get it flying. Maybe you are very close to the stall speed of the foil when you push up, and it will not be stable and/or drop down again.

I am guessing that your previous setup had a much larger front wing.

If I were unable to move my foil more forward, and had too little pressure under the front foot, I would change something with the rear wing.
Either shim it, put on a more powerful rear wing, or a longer fuselage.

Most easy way that doesn't require any investment is to shim it.

With tuttle box this is usually the way to get things in balance.
