With a modified event structure to provide for all,
everyone is set to have a great time at our events.
As before, we will run heats at each event with the results counting towards an end of season ranking, with prizes for the winners. For 2019/20 there will be no dropping of events, so if you want to compete for the prize, you need to get to as many events as possible.
A major new innovation for 2019/20 will be the holding of an
expression session at every event. This will give the opportunity for those who are new to competition, aren't a fan of heats, or just wanting more time in the water, to enjoy the opportunity to be a part of the summer series in an all-new way. If there are no waves we will have a freestyle session, and if there is no wind we will SUP or surf. The expression sessions will be stand-alone, with winners crowned at each event.
To maximise the chance of good conditions,
we are keeping three of our four events' dates semi-flexible to allow for shifting of events in the case of a bad forecast. Of course all the great things the series has become known for - great socials, tshirts, great people, prizes, & much more - will be back again.
