Forecast for Friday
Winds: North to northwesterly 20 to 25 knots tending west to northwesterly 15 to 20 knots during the afternoon then increasing to 15 to 25 knots during the evening. Seas: 0.5 to 1.5 metres. The chance of thunderstorms during the evening.

Forecast for Saturday
Winds: West to northwesterly 20 to 30 knots decreasing to 15 to 20 knots during the evening. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres increasing to 2 metres during the morning. The chance of thunderstorms.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:10 am EDT

So is every one going to rye?? that's the only beach around to windsurf in northlys if ya live on the peninsula and you city slickers. you all heading to green point??

hey got a qustion fellas: is sandy point the only good beach around good for wave sailing in northlys?? any one tried cat bay?? i live near point leo and that goes off in a sw, but in a NW the coast around me all shuts down.

fridy and satdy is party time boys.

don't worry - i'm sure it will blow because in my despair at the little time i seem to get on the water i've made a plan with a mate to instead race a 505 (dingy) on saturday. ipso facto the conditions will (remarkably enough) be unsuitable for dingy sailing and perfect for the board (AKA just my luck). it's times like these I think there may well be a spiteful god casting retribution on my atheistic tendencies.
