Check you gear is all there. My wallet and phone were stolen from my car during the Breakwater to Beacon race this arvo. Kept the car locked except between carrying gear down. Some bastard took the opportunity whilst it was unlocked for a few minutes. Windsurfing buddies, no good texting me for a sail for a while.
Great race though but had to miss the BBQ in order to cancel cards, phones and report to police.
Hey Bill was it a Samsung phone? I saw the back cover from a phone on the beach as I was leaving but didnt pick it up. What a damn hassle.
Yes it was a Samsung Galaxy. Wonder why they would do that? Change the sim card????

yep, bill you were parked right next to me, on the left just before the gravel carpark.
Yeah, was parked in Jetty Rd about 50m before main carpark. Notified police. Took me about 4 hours today organizing the replacement cards and new sim card. Fortunately got my mobile number back but have to use the missus's phone from years ago.
Pity as it kind of ruined what was a fantastic day as it was my first Breakwater to Beacon.
