Yeh i suppose 20knots is better than nothing! Didnt seem all that windy at Ricketts! Good for a bit of freestyle though!
Sailed at Keast yesterday after looking at the south channel readings showing 20+ and reading higher than fawkner, thought it HAS to be coming, but it only lasted about 40 mins before going to the east and dropping, sounds like it was better from brighton and northwards.
The wind died here after 8pm. So guess what time I got to the beach after work in my desperation for a sail? Bah.
Saturday was pretty sweet though at Mt. Martha. Got a great sail between 11-3. About 10 sailors out.
Hopefully the wind is back because I'm coming out of injury status.
Had a short but great sail at williamstown beach - was in the water around 6:30 and only sailed for 45min before it dropped out. I was stoked to get out. It was a nice 20kts SSE at the top end of the bay.
Hopefully more of the same tonight.
