Hi Guys,

pretty new to the forum, and even newer to the sport.

I got plenty to learn, and feel that youtube videos and DVD's can only help to some degree, and would love to know if there is anyone that can meet me on the water to talk, and mainly show gear setup and good surfing technique ?
I struggle to get prolong Planing before I sink back to reality..

I surf on a Xcite 160, and a 5.5 sail(first gear set)

Thanks for the help

Just gotta keep getting out there. Buy a good wetsuit for winter and keep going. Only get better with practice. Heaps of us sail Inverloch regularly. In fact we will be there on Sunday 26th at the Angling Club carpark. Can help you there for sure. Personably I sail regularly on Port Philip Bay as well. As you get the hang of it and your boards get smaller, you'll plane more consistently.

Thanks for the kind answer nazsail,

Inverloch will be out of my range for this weekend, but will hope to meet and surf in the future!

Cheers

Hey Ido,

I'm thinking of heading out this Saturday morning off either Frankston, Keast or Sandy depending on the wind. Will be around 9:30 - 10am I reckon.

Sing out if you're available.

Where do you live? Or where do you like to sail?
