Windsurf Gear lost at Kite beach

Unfortunatly Paul Harvey has lost his gear at Kite beach last night.
If you have seen it or picked it up please call him on 0417389683
or drop it of at SHQ Boardsports (slab of beer !)

What is missing:

How did he loose the gear?? did he loose it in a wipe out or gust of wind out on the water?? G, that gear he had is not cheap too, hope he gets it back..

I reckon it got nicked....you wouldn't lose your harness + helmet in a wipeout cos you'd be wearing them! Also I highly doubt Paul would wipeout to the extent that he would not be able to retrieve his kit...I smell a dirty thief! Its time for a lynching fellas....I'll just get my rope!

So this is the Storey.......

I ended up down wind so packed up gear andput on grassed near toilets ....walked back to vechicle....
Got called to emergency....
Got so distracted
Didnt realise till morning i had left it there.....
I was really lucky though cos the mask extention all of $50 was left as a token gesture for such a good haul.....
**** happens!!!!
Insurance doesnt pay out on water sports .....
I still have my wetsuit so just need to kit up a little more before I hit the water.
Happy sailing everyone I will be watching from the beach for a while...

Paul, make a detailed list and put it in to both shops SHQ,RPS. They will keep an eye out for anyone who tries to trade it in. Also put the list to the cops.

I had my van stolen in 2005 from the carpark at work. (had heaps of my WS gear in it)

Exactly 4 years later I happened to stumble on it on ebay. (hard to miss a z boom and a green flow) Only a fraction of the stuff that was flogged was in the ad, but the guy had the rest of it. A friend of mine is a cop and he was able to pull a few strings to get on the case. They managed to retrieve just about all the WS gear I lost.

-Don't rule out getting it back, the WS community is a pretty tight one.

i'm still waiting to find my 15hp Mercury some scumbag decided they liked more than me, 2 years ago. Great christmas present that was, go down to the boat, 'hey dude where's the ourboard'. Even took the (plumbed through) fule line, fual tank, plus my mainsheet and jib sheets.
