Headed done to Bonbeach expecting 20 - 30 kts as forecasted. Did not seem to be any wind between Frankston and Brighton so who got the 30 kts and how did you go? I am just jealous because we did not get any - maybe 10 kts at the most

Wind showed up in a gusty way at Green Point at about 5:30... hugely gusty and hard work though with some massive lulls.

We had the wind at about 3.30 - 4.30 at Pt Henry. Changed down 3 sail sizes (from 8.5 to a 6.5 then to a 5.8) to only have it drop off too nothing. Was hard work with lots of gust and holes but at least I managed to get out and get a few runs in.

Saw the wind come through on 'beacon' at work. Jumped on the bike, rode home as fast as I could. Drove straight down to Hampton, rigged. Got down onto the beach and into the water only to have missed the bloody wind.

Second time in a row. Desperatly looking forward to the summer sea breezes!
