How ya doin,

Names Dan an i'm over from Ireland for a while and mad keen to get out wave sailing.

Just wondering wheres the best spot for some wave sailing this sunday? I'm living in the st. Kilda area south of Mel. and havent been out on the water yet since i arrived so getting water withdrawls.

I'm a teamrider for Moocustom.com back in england so would murder for some good jumping or waveriding.

It would be great if some one could suggest some spot to sail and if some one could offer a life to the beach it would be awesome as i dont have a car yet. I would chip if for fuel an the like.

Any help would be mighty

Happy sailing
Dan

Not sure what our plans are. If we don't do anything else, then at least we'll sail at Green point or ricketts - which is about 4km south of you in the bay - ricketts has good jumping in a westerly, but it's not proper wave sailing...
I can pick you up in the van if you want.

GP man up as I think we should hit the West coast for some waves!

But I'll have to drive for more than 10 minutes and sail somewhere where I don't know every rock and contour of the sea bed... and I won't be able to drive home in my wetsuit

I think there is a very good chance people will sail 13th beach tomorrow. GP you can still drive home in your wetsuit, you will just get really wet seats:-)

Sunday was really fun.
Some nice clean waves and powered up on my 4.7

Tom charged a few bomb sets too!

Only got a couple pics off Al:

Thanks for the words of encouragement Joel! I certainly didn't charge any waves like in the second photo, and if I did I shouldn't have! A middle aged over weight man has no place being on waves that size (unless he can turn, which as we all know I can't!)

Zac and Stu got some really good waves when I was doing some swim training (I really should learn to swim properly). Fun day - Lets hope we get some more good conditions during the week.

Why did you keep pointing at me Joel?

Because I was so stoked at the size of the wave you just rode!
