Looks like good times.

I notice the 'nose saver' on your mast (roof rack pad ?), great idea I'll do it myself and pretend I thought it up

Ha, no its a pool noodle glue'd onto a small diameter pvc pipe which I cut about a 2cm slot out of so its removable but still tight and doesn't slip or come off easily. Has saved my boards a few times and cost me about $8 to make.

No, he chickened out going for them, reckons it was too big or something like that !!

Hard to tell from the action cam footage, but most waves were shoulder approaching head high faces, and wind was around 25 knots, I was on a 4.5m and 75L fully powered.

Yeah agree, it is a beautiful spot to sail, probably my favorite in Vic, well worth the 2 hour drive when its working.
