Today was beautiful, perfect day but wind a little gusty and NW. Allison ran through some theory in the morning and then did a beginners lesson on beach starting before moving onto more intermediate level in the afternoon. Great day had by all, George won most improved.
Looking forward to tomorrow, here is a sneak peak of the action....more to come

Another great day, wind was better direction with some South in it. It was awesome to see people who had never tried windsurfing get out there, give it a go (successfully), with big smiles, loving every bit of it.
Great to meet so many nice peoples too :)
More pics on website, although this is only a very small sample of what will be on the DVD (there are 100's of pics). The DVD is $25.00 and 50% proceeds go to Allison towards her training. If you are interested, email me wcphoto@hotmail.com.
Jodi :)
The pics are awsome!!!
Thank you so much for spending 2 days taking photos of us and scoring our stacks ![]()
I hope we all get another chance to have photos taken by you. Next time you really should stay and come out for dinner.
Thank you again,
From Megs and George
I agree...
it would have been great to have Jodi join us at the Chinese Restaurant on saturday night, although I reckon Pam the waitress could give a tip or two about how not to take a photograph!![]()
(I am not an expert but aren't you mean to point the lens at the thing you want to take the photo of?????????). Shots are on Allison's camera so hopefully she can report back on the success of Pams photographic skills!.
Just quickly though, how good was the weekend? We had a great bunch of people on the water, lots of spills, but some great fun variable wind sailing. It was awesome to see so many first timers having a go (and ripping it up).
My favourite moment was hearing the hoots and cheers from the crew whenever a newbie got going or when the more advanced nailed beach start or gybe. Isn't that what windsurfing is all about????
Great stuff everyone- this is first of many so get right behind the club!
cheers,
mick
