Unfortunately the first 'fixed date' this weekend doesn't look like conditions will be good enough to hold a competition, so there will be NO round of the Vic Wave series held this weekend.

With wind the wind forecast from the North at 20-25 knots on Saturday, options are pretty limited for wave sailing, and while Cat Bay is a great option for a Northerly, there isn't enough swell for there to hold a competition.

The best options for a sail are looking like a bay session at either Rye, Frankston or Green point so get out there and get some practice in!

Have a good weekend

Bummer about the swell - but I can guarantee great conditions from the 10 - 19th September

possos is almost dead offshore in a Notherly..
Pt Danger I have never tried on a Northerly it would be pretty offshore there too

Sandy point is sailable in a northerly (just) hard work, and there won't be any swell there
