Hi Guys

As someone transitioning from beginner to intermediate and living on the eastern side of the bay, I would love to find somewhere that is a bit sheltered in these SW'lYes.

Is Sandringham harbour an option?

Just looking for for some flattish water even if the runs are short.

Any suggestions well received!

Thanks

Dave

Sandy harbour works well. Area shrinks at low tide. Watch for parking inspectors.

You could try the wide stretch of Patterson River between the Patterson Lakes shopping centre canal and Wells Road. I haven't tried it though. It's a dead end stretch of water so no boat traffic. I think there might be a bit of parking where Gladesville Bvd meets Wells Rd. Not sure though.

Plenty of water on the other side of Wells Road at the National water sports centre but don't know what their rules are.

Come to Inverloch. Only 90mins away and no better place for beginner-intermediates to get to get in the straps, harness and learn to gybe.
