This has to be one of the worst seasons for sea breezes Not only that but the weather has been pretty ordinary also! We have only had a handfull of +30 degree days and summer only has 6 weeks to go!

Getting very grumpy

Got all the windows painted and built the pergola. At least the wife is happy!

Me same. Built an alfresco, decking and landscaped the garden. Now she wants me to the front yard

I did that last year - congratulations. See that windsurfing that you love? See that board and your lovely gear? Go and give it a big hug. A huge man kiss. It may be the closest you get to it for a while

Congrats to all that made babies! Having a 13 month old I can happily confirm you don't need to put your kit in storage! I still get leave passes they just sometimes don't last as long. As for the wind - it has been a shocking summer! Fingers crossed for a windy Australia day!

Just got to think outside the square guys...

The season's been so bad that I traded a w-s board to buy a SUP! Had some fun times with the kids on it so far...

...also my freezer's full of fish due to the windless days!

Would trade it for some decent wind though!

Plenty of time on the SUP. I know it's not the same but it sure does build fitness & strength. Have seen noticeable changes in my windsurfing when I do manage to get out.
In the 4 years I have been windsurfing this is easily the worst season.

must be the influx of Poms...

Sailed for 2 hrs last night... albeit had to pump a few times...

...using a 10m.

I hear you. 50% of my main sailing buddies have immigrated from the frostyland. Craziness!

Me finding the 380 cm longboard with 8 meter sail is fun, if not excitement.
Keep going upwind when the kites are going downwind.
Aim to find strong enough current so that wind can be dispensed with entirely

Now this is starting to piss me off.

It's un Australian not to have 15 knots on Australia day.
