Hi all

I tried surfing about 10 years ago and after a short period, I stopped.

As I'm heading to Dromana around December, it seem like a good time to try and get back on the board.

I'd appreciate if you could give me some tips about:
- Are there any basic surfing conditions around Dromana?
- a place around dromana where hiring equipment is possible.
- A lesson, just to get back on the board, is considerable.
If you know someone/ someplace around there that would be interested - I'd appreciate it.

Thank you all

Not in you state, so dunno the area

Are you talking about surfing or windsurfing?

Guessing your from overseas, as some countries call windsurfing surfing, but here surfing is a much different thing.

Someone know the area?

If want surfing try www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/forum.asp?forum_id=30

My mistake, I do mean windsurfing.

Thanks for the correction.

Welcome
The closest place to Dromana for gear hire is SHQ - Sandringham then further up the road to Elwood you would find RPS. Both hire gear and give lessons. They are both around 1 hr drive from Dromana back towards the city. They could also advise you on the best spots around Dromana to go in what wind direction.
Depending on your skill level the closer to the city the more consistant the conditions during Summer.
