Rain usually spells disaster for any decent consistent wind, and especially when they also predict thunder storms....there's usually zero wind with thunderstorms. 
And it looks like rain until atleast Monday November has been one of the worst months this year me thinks.
thank god for inverloch and the pit, cause i wont be waiting around for the wind in the bay this weekend, no way. never seen the bay so windless

This weather reminds me of early winter, ie: somewhat stable weather, no wind, with the hint of thunderstorms...
Yesterday arvo was the biggest hint of a thunder storm Iv'e seen for a while
