Hi Will, check out the buy & sell menu on this Seabreeze site, then check out the Tas gear for sale, all the cheap stuff we're trying to sell is on there.

Hi Will..Do you have any experience in windsurfing? Windsurfing Tas. can certainly help you get started with learning as we have some learner kits available in Launceston which if you join up as a member can be used. If you are experienced, what level are you at and what gear are you looking for? Give me a call on 63274108 evenings for a chat.

Will, there's plenty of gear around but you may need advice on what to buy for capability.

If you've never sailed before there are some learner boards belonging to the club you can borrow for a couple of weeks to get you started.
If you've already sailed a bit not heaps you probably need to keep clear of small high performance boards and go for larger boards.

There's plenty of guys in the Launceston area who have only started in the last few years and advanced quickly as they've been on the right gear.
Contact bearhoover or Rustbucket68 on this sight they'll set you in the right direction.

Welcome aboard
ps. you'll also need a sick sense of humour

Very true Houston but don't forget Al. I recommend Will also drop into Planet Surf and have a chat with Alan. He has given me some great advice but make sure you put plenty of money in the parking meter.

You will need to book a flight to Lord Howe Island park yourself on the local beach, look for the guy sailing with a grin from ear to ear with the very understanding mrs also sailing and mention you are from Tassie! the response will go something like this "Hi oh your from Tassie so am I ,Oh you are looking to get into sailing!!! mmmmm you could try is one of these boards with this rig, mmmmmm actually I just so happen to have all that in the back of the car in Tassie sitting at Lagoon beach. Funny that what a coincedence !!"
Aaaahhh where would we be without Al !!
