Just to let you know there is a old boat trailer in the water at the lower dorans road car park ( grassy area). The trailer is submerged at high tide so would be a serious hazard for launching/gybing etc. It has been reversed and dumped in the h20.
This trailer definately has been dumped, as on the same day there was a box trailer also left with no rego/lights in the top car park ( recently removed by fellow windsurfer).
I will ring the clarence council tomorrow to let them know.
I have rung the council 4-5 times with litter related issues at dorans and they seem to act very slowly ( if at all). This also includes syringes dumped!.
Over the weekend a few of us will get together and drag the trailer out and move it up to the road for the council to collect!
Perhaps as well as the ' No Standing, signs the council should be approached re Littering prohibited, fines etc.
Yeah, there's some dodgy types living on South Arm! 
Well done Damo, if the sailing community can be seen to be pro-active in keeping our coastline clean, the more credo to us when we need it to opppose bad coastal developments.
Yeah you're right the only way to keep Dorans clean is to do it ourselves, we've done it plenty of times before and like Easty said it'll keep us on the right side of the council so when we need them they will listen
