Hope you have a good one Izaak. See if team Perks can pick up a point on the Alpha and maybe a bit on NM. If we can steal a few points back it would be good.
Maybe later this afternoon for a 1 hr at Pittwater? Wouldn't be able to get there before about 3:30pm.
I'm going to drag myself somewhere for a sail
Where a you thinking Kaleb?
Dave, how high does the tide need to be for pittwater?
About half-way between low and high. Varies though, some low tides are still OK to sail there. At some stage in the tide you can launch and sail out from the beach, but if it is a bit low, you just need to walk out. The low tide today at around 11am is not that low, so should be OK this afternoon.
I went to Dorans and it was gusty rubbish, so didn't go out. Just cruised past Pittwater on the way home and it was howling down there and looking really good with the NW direction. Was probably there around 2ish and the tide still looked a bit to low on the sorell end, but it was hard to tell. Golf club end looked good, just to hard to get down there.
just ripped up at pittwater, tide pretty high, howling north westerly let the old maestro strut his stuff
I drove to port sorell for the low tide... was a nice drive
.
going to give Low head a go in the morning (monday) Anyone else lucky enough to have the day off in the north?
Ben
I didnt actually rig up.. I was in the red 4wd (bought a 4wd to get into the henty lol) Wayne was sailing but I got there as it all dropped off...
Keen as to try the flat water again.. if next Saturdays forecast holds I will try again...
Ran out of time today and didn't make it down to Pittwater, pity as sounds like it was windy. We'll need to start sailing there more often again!!
