Looks like 2 options in the south with a northeasterly on the way
Goats (haven't checked the swell) or Marion Bay
Who's going where?
I reckon Goats,
Marion is not until this arvo and a ultra low low tide will make it a long walk
and if theres no wind I'll go for a SUP
looks like threre is some swell, front beach lauderdale has a small wave, could be dump city at goats, perhaps carlton river mouth, clifton
I'll be at Goats teaching Jordon how to pull off back, forward and push loops with a few goita's and flaka's
Wind is definately from the E to NE. Goats has started to have a bit of wind, looks like it should end up quite strong later. Sets are a bit dumpy with the low tide, but not too bad, should die a bit as the day progresses. Meeting Goats 2.30, Damos going to check Cliffy on the way down and give us a report.
Was at nut grove beach, Hobart. Was absolutely perfect. Did some long runs till bellerive. Looking forward to go back this arvo ... if you're keen ! (there is a ice cream shop and a bottle-o 10m far from the rigging spot
Good old Nutgrove.
This is where everyone USED to sail in N-NW & seabreezes.
It was not unusual to have 20+ sailors out.
Seems like the demographic of sailboarders has changed now it is rare to see more than one or two out even when it's howling.
