I've managed to lose my fin (don't ask!!!). Cheapest I can find new is about $80. Does anyone know where I could get one cheaper. Or preferably, does anyone have an old fin, just about ready for the tip, that I could buy cheaply?
I just want something to get me through the early learning stages (today was my 3rd session with a small board) so that I can put the money towards something a bit better when I know what I actually need.

Have to....how did you do it....couldn't have been as bad as Iceman at Stanley, he lost 2 fins in half an hour....reckons there was a log out there.......more like a flathead
I accidentally left the fin bolt at home and only realised at Dorans (about 30minutes from home). So I strapped the fin to the board. Was tight enough that I was unable to forcibly detach the fin.
It worked for about 90 minutes until I hit something hard. The fin disappeared and despite being in knee deep water I was unable to find it :-(
That was an expensive session....
