Spring is approaching & already the boys up north have had a couple of good sessions in the surf over the last week while us down south lament.
Hows about we organise some day trips to the north coast.
Not too much involved, if the forecast looks good arrange to meet somewhere like Antmans barn & car pool it. Low head is only 3hrs away & pretty reliable on a good forecast, I can remember going up there quite regularly back in the 80s & rarely missing out. We can let those in the north & northwest our plans & who knows we could end up with a good crew in the water.
Food for thought.
Yep, the North is the place to sail from now till October. I'm always keen for a trip to Low Head or Bakers. Just need to know that others are going and I'll be there. Hanson, Houston, Mitchell and myself have done a few trips in the past and it was always worth it. If you want to jump its the place to be.
For a very reasonable price I will be issuing passports that will allow anyone from south of the border access to the northern beaches.![]()
Any contraband Cascade will be confiscated!!!!!
I'd be keen though not that clued up on the wavesailing but would love to learn. Just as another suggestion, what about if some of the trips could be organised for the less hard core so that we could create more wavesailors? (Ant, mind out of the gutter). Something along the lines of the learn-to-sail day?
